Skill System Inspiration from Clash Bowley

I've been following Clash Bowleys's gaming blog for a while. That guy really knows his way around when it comes to game design, especially when it comes to the little details, He put up an excellent post on his blog yesterday regarding skill systems and how to handle the seemingly endless specializations when it comes to fleshing out a simple set of broadly defined skills.
